I visted Caserta back in October 2003 for the feast day of San Simeone in Camigliano,Caserta. I was taken to the Italian Palace as well and was taken back by the beauty and calmness of it all. I have some pictures also if you would be interested in seeing them.

My fiance and I are planning a trip to one of the islands for our honeymoon in October. We love to snorkel, especially right off the beach when possible, and are wondering which of the islands have the best snorkeling and whether you have to take a boat to get to the snorkeling sites. We're currently thinking Moorea or Bora Bora, but are open to the suggestion of another island. We're probably going to spend our whole time on one island, as we only have five full days and want to have a lot of time to relax. Thanks in advance for your help! http://lol.to/bbs.php?bbs=travel

I found your site by looking for Panyi Island in Google. I had an interest in the island from a visit about 8 years ago on the way to James Bond Island and I was concerned that it may have been affected by the tsunami. I am so glad it seems to have been unharmed as it is such a lovely place. Thank you for taking the beautiful pictures. It brought it all back to me. They are good photos. Did James Bond Island get hit with the wave, I wonder?

i have found a very nice site, wonderful pictures, and interesting comments..........but............not so much updated.- You are not giving to South America the importance it really has..for example, about Uruguay, you only show Colonia, and as a town, when it has been declared Humanity Historical Monument . Nothing is telling there about the capital city, Montevideo..........or about Punta del Este, the main place for seaside tourism in all South america A site like yours, can't still have a resume from 1994.

I do not want to sound like a critic but your page about Mombasa, Kenya deserves alot to be desired. Instead of talking about the town you emphasied on the train trip TO the town! And the pics like the parliament building is in Nairobi and NOT mombasa. I cannot figure out how that video repair shop can be of interest to an ardent traveller instead of the numerous breath-taking views you can see in this amazing and historical city.

This is a great site!! I was really disapointed when I heard about the Egyptian Pyramids being toursited (my new word!) out, though. I always wanted to see them, but after a climbed the Aztec Pyramids in Mexico, I decided that the pyramids in Egypt were an absoballylutely MUST!! I'm glad you were saying about how busy they are now, because every site I've visited always said 'The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt get you lost in another century' and stuff like that. It's nice to hear the true version! I've done a lot of traveling (Mexico, Japan, Vanuatu, Europe, etc. etc. I'm Australian) but even though I've been to lots of places, I still want to go to Egypt!! When we climbed the Pyramids in Mexico, we were continuesly surrounded by people wanting to sell things. At the Egyptian pyramids it must be ten-times worse!! I'm glad you got to see it when you were a kid, though. I just wish I'd been around then to have gone with you!!

I read something on you web page that was incorrect about Chile Reffering to the presidential pallace: "it was this palace which the unfaithful troops bombed into ruins". Unfaithful Troops? Chile was on the brink of a civil war thanks to your "hero" Allende....if it wasn't for the so called "unfaithful troops" Chile would not be the beutiful and prosperous place it is now...it would be the 2nd Cuba.

Though I might agree with you that Singapore is a concrete jungle, I wonder if someone has actually brought you around during your many trips here. Maybe the focus here is not what you expect like from our neighbouring countries. with their more rural rustic appeal. Next time if you happen to pop into Singapore, do check out our local cuisine. Fried Kway Teow, Chilli Crab, Prata, Sambal Stringray, Rojak, Fried Carrot Cake (this is not a 'cake' so to speak), popiah, curry fish head, etc etc just to name a few and you will discover that how Singaporeans are passionate about food. We are a small country which developed into a busy city very quickly over the years... we may not have a long history but there are ways in which Singapore can be very charming if you look hard enough..

Just a quick note to say I am anxiously waiting to hear from my cousin Linda who is coming to Africa next month. She is a Salvation Army person and I am sure it is with them that she will be travelling. I can't wait to hear from her. Africa has always been a love hidden deep in my heart. I wish I could accomodate her on her trip. Thanks for the pretty pictures....Juniebeth

I am mainly interested by Japanese travel and I will perform my eighth trip within 15 days. I am always greatful to any effort I see on the web to promote the country and how to travel in it. So, thank you and congratulations for bringing your knowledges to the public. However, I would like to make some remark about the exactitude of some info. Your chapter dedicated to Tokyo subway contains many mistakes as such as the photos showing the platform indication board, the interior of a carriage and the ticket machine are not the ones of the subway but these of the JR Railways (Yamanote-line I suppose, which is not a Subway, like Teito, despite his appearance)

It would be nice if what was written about jeddah in saudi arabia would be revised. The person who wrote this does not really seem to have spent anytime in the city. The information i guess were derived just from other reading sources which unfortunately are mainly based on what is said in the media which again unfortunately is 98% wrong. i wish more people would come to visit the country and see the real saudi arabia .. i do however want to thank the person who did this website for at least trying to give information about different places..thanks again

I am a Canadian living and working in Saudi Arabia. I have been here for almost eight years now and must say I love it. I have already sent in a note about the inaccuracies of the post you have on Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Whoever wrote that had extremely limited experience in the country, from the looks of it, and his/her paranoia about this culture does a great disservice to this people and representation of them. I am writing a book about Saudi Arabia. I hope it will clarify a lot of the myths that are out there, some of which are ridiculous.
